Don’t forget

Think back to recess, classes all in one room, gym in the lunch room and home work was only one page.
Getting in trouble was a time out or staying in at recess.
Teachers read out loud and moms went to all the school events.
The way you looked didn’t matter and mud on your pants was cool and always came with a story.
Your best friend was anyone who would listen or share their cookies.

Some where between then and now, mud got dirty…
